Frequently asked questions

Instances are provisioned in UAE regions so that data stays onshore. Dubai is the primary region; Abu Dhabi is available as a secondary site for disaster recovery and multi-region designs. Region selection is made at launch and does not change without your instruction.

A standard Linux instance is running in under 60 seconds. Windows Server images take slightly longer because of licence activation. Custom images built from your own golden template boot at the same speed as ours.

Inbound traffic is free. Each instance includes a monthly outbound allowance; usage beyond it is metered per GB and shown on the invoice as a separate line so you can see exactly what drove the cost.

Yes, subject to Microsoft's licence mobility terms. We will confirm eligibility for your specific agreement before you commit, and we can also supply the licence through CSP if that works out cheaper.

Instances are restarted automatically on healthy hardware. Block volumes are triple-replicated inside the region, so data survives a host failure. For applications that cannot tolerate a restart, we design an active-active pair behind a load balancer.
