Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not do with our Services, why those limits exist under UAE law, and how we enforce them.

Last updated 11 August 2026 · Governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits — perform comparable functions. In this policy, “cookies” means all of them.

Cookie data can constitute personal data under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. Where it does, our Privacy Policy applies to it as well.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site and the customer console to work: session management, authentication, load balancing, security tokens and recording your cookie preferences. These cannot be disabled through our banner. Typical duration: session to 12 months.

Functional

Remember choices you have made, such as language, region and interface preferences, so you do not have to set them again. Typical duration: up to 12 months.

Analytics and performance

Help us understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive and where they encounter difficulty — so we can improve it. We configure analytics to limit identifiability where the tool allows. Typical duration: up to 24 months.

Marketing and advertising

Used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and, where you have consented, to show you relevant advertising on third-party platforms. These cookies may be set by advertising partners and may involve transfer of data outside the UAE. Typical duration: up to 13 months.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use. Where those services are enabled subject to your consent, the relevant provider's own privacy notice governs their processing. Categories of third party include analytics providers, advertising platforms, embedded video and mapping services, and live chat providers.

We maintain a current inventory of the specific cookies in use, their provider, purpose and duration. It is published in the cookie preference centre accessible from the footer, and updated when the inventory changes.

Managing cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site and the customer console from working. Browser controls apply to the browser you set them in, so you will need to repeat the change on each device and browser you use.

Most browsers also offer a “do not track” signal. There is no settled industry standard for how such signals should be honoured, and we currently rely on your cookie consent choice rather than that signal.

Changes

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The version in force is the one published on this page with the date shown above.
